Overhead camera arm

I want to be able to film more projects in my workshop, so I’ve built this overhead camera arm. The arm is made out of aluminum square tubes and it is held together with wing nuts.

The arm is very adjustable and can literally be pointed in any direction while still being away from the work that I’m doing and not interfere.

The idea for the project came from my friend Emiel, The Practical Engineer who build one such arm for his workshop.

To see more pictures and written details fo the entire build, check out the Instructables article for the project.
